Milbrook Elementary where success is our only option

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year at Milbrook Elementary School. As I enter my seventh year as Principal, I reflect on the amazing things we have accomplished over the past six years as a community.   We are excited to enter our second year as a Title 1 Community School. In addition, we are excited to partner with our newly formed PTA. Please look for information on how you can join the PTA to support all the students and families of Milbrook Elementary. 

This is a reminder that the first bell will ring at 8:50 am and students will be late after the second bell at 9:05 am. Our dismissal bell will ring at 3:50 pm. Please make note of these important times. It is important that students maximize all instructional time during the school day. Arrival and dismissal procedures will remain the same as last year. 

This year, our School Progress Plan in Reading and Math will focus on implementing programs with fidelity and providing various ways to present information to students.  Our Climate Goal is for all students to follow our Code of Conduct (TRACK) to help sustain a safe and welcoming environment. Our School Progress Plan Snapshot will be added to our website when it is approved by the Executive Director.

It was wonderful to see so many parents/guardians at Back to School Night.  Thank you for supporting Milbrook and your students.  I can’t wait to see the amazing growth our students will make this school year.
